New classes

"Higher Love”
Teacher: Don & Toni Greene

Focus on the Family Presents: Essentials of Marriage: Higher Love. During this study you’ll see your partnership from God’s perspective. What is His plan - and your purpose? Gary Thomas, Dr. Del Tackett, Stormie Omartian, and more, reveal how praying and serving together, listening to your mate’s emotions, and dropping mistaken beliefs, can bring you closer. You will find new meaning - and joy - in your journey. This study is about learning to overcome bitterness and how to deal with offenses, and forgive the person who has offended you. An offended person is one who has “taken offense” when someone mistreated him in some way. This may also include offended people who believe they were mistreated when they were not.

Living Beyond Your Feelings
Teachers: Cathy Mullinix & Victor Riddle

The average person has 70,000 thoughts every day, and many of those thoughts trigger a corresponding emotion. No wonder so many of us often feel like we're controlled by our emotions. Our lives would be much improved is we controlled them. In LIVING BEYOND YOUR FEELINGS, Joyce Meyer examines the gamut of feelings that human beings experience. She discusses the way that the brain processes and stores memories and thoughts, and then - emotion by emotion - she explains how we can manage our reactions to those emotions. By doing that, she gives you a toolbox for managing the way we react to the onslaught of feelings that can wreak havoc on our lives. In this book, Meyer blends the wisdom of the Bible with the latest psychological research and discusses: the 4 personality types and their influence on one's outlook, the impact of stress on physical and emotional health, the power of memories, the influence of words on emotions, anger & resentment, sadness, loss & grief, fear, guilt & regret, the power of replacing reactions with pro-actions, and the benefits of happiness.

Peacemaker Ministries - Coming Soon to a LIFE Center near you! Last year and earlier this year we had hundreds of individuals participate in small connect group Peacemaker Ministry training. We are once again very excited to be able to offer this training on how to respond to conflict in a Biblical manner. The Bible provides us with a simple, yet powerful system for resolving conflict. These principles are so simple that they can be used to resolve the most basic conflicts of daily life. The next training will be offered on Thursday nights beginning Sept. 29th and Sunday mornings beginning Oct. 2nd. Watch for registration information that will be released soon!
