DISCIPLESHIP - SUNDAY LIFE CENTER CLASSES
  • Life Center - Our Sunday morning Discipleship hour from 8:30 - 9:30 AM
  • Life Cells - This includes Home Groups and Wednesday Breakouts
Women’s Bible Study (Atrium Classroom #104)
Lois Smith and Robin Ritenour lead this study on Sunday mornings. In this study you will see the power of God's sovereignty in the lives of other shady ladies we know by reputation but have rarely studied in depth. We will examine the important spiritual lessons that can be learned from negative examples of women in the Bible.  The eye-opening stories of these eight "Really Bad" women demonstrate one really life-changing concept: the sovereign power of God to rule our hearts and our lives with grace, compassion, and hope.

Walk Through the Bible with Tom Ellicott (Prayer Chapel)
Individuals of all ages are welcome to attend Tom Ellicott’s class in the Prayer Chapel. The Fall study will focus on “The Story of the Old and the New Testaments.” This lesson is the         beginning of a “flyover” view of the entire Bible and will hit the main points of the Old and New Testaments. This is a great time to begin attending Life Center and growing in the Word with other brothers and sisters in Christ!

Prayer Ministry

Opportunities for Prayer on Sunday Mornings
8:00 - 8:30 AM - Corporate Prayer in the Atrium
9:30 - 9:40 AM - Personal Prayer in the Sanctuary
Due to the ongoing social distancing due to Covid, we want to   incorporate more prayer but want to do it in a safe manner for everyone. In addition to the above options, prayer is always       available at the conclusion of the 9:45 AM service. Please come to the front of the Sanctuary to request prayer. We want to be mindful of others and their health but we welcome those who do want to receive personal prayer. Thank you for your understanding!

Heritage Ministries
Each month the Heritage Ministries (those 60 and older) get together for a special activity or event. There are bus trips, picnics, Hawaiian Luaus, guest speakers, etc.  This group is not exclusive and everyone is welcome to attend and participate in the events. What a great place to make new friendships and re-connect with old friends.

Heritage Ministries (for individuals ages 60 and up)
The Heritage Ministries will not host an event in January. Check back at a later date for dates for 2021.

You can call or email the Church Office at (717) 359-4675 or Don and Toni Greene at (717) 642-8118 with any questions.

All events begin at 10:30 AM on the second Wednesday of every month in the Atrium unless otherwise noted.

Friday Morning Ladies Bible Study with Lois Smith
In the Atrium at 10:00 AM

Lois Smith is working through a new Friday Morning Ladies Bible Study using the book by Beth Moore titled, “Daniel - Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy.”  Ladies of all ages are encouraged to join Lois and other ladies in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society. The prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures to   compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats.  Today, believers in Jesus Christ face many of the same trials. This is a great study for such a time as this and, ladies, you will want to be a part of this study!

The dates for this study are as follows:
December 4 & 18
January 8 & 22.

You can purchase this book online and sign up for this class by sending Lois Smith an email at loisfsmith@hotmail.com  or call the Church Office at (717) 359-4675.
