In the Atrium:
Wednesday Evening Bible Study
Make plans to join us on Wednesday evenings in the Atrium for our Adult Bible Study. Each week we have a study that takes us deep into the scripture where we learn and grow as the Body of Christ.
NEW Wednesday Evening Bible Study with Pastor Rick Ritenour
On Wednesday Evening, February 6, Pastor Rick will begin a new series titled, “Discernment and Spiritual Comprehension.” The Purpose of this Study is to equip spirit-filled believers with a scripturally grounded understanding of what spiritual discernment and comprehension are, and why they are critical in day-to-day life. God desires that we know His Word, His Voice, and that as spirit believers, we walk daily with true discernment and spiritual comprehension. The scriptures emphasize the importance of walking in the Spirit of Truth and that we have our spiritual senses sharpened that may see beyond the natural and limited. We cannot appreciate the deeper things of God without a prayerful appreciation of the scriptures and the revelation knowledge that the Holy Spirit imparts. The spiritual airways are flooded with messages of truth and error. Satan is always enticing people to indulge self discovery and personal experimentation and indulgence through the messages and means that he seeks to introduce and seed.
If you are not part of another ministry or Bible Study on Wednesday evenings, Pastor Rick encourages you to join his study. There are so many teachings that individuals subject themselves to, and without a solid grasp on the scripture, people can be misled without even recognizing it.
