MATTHEW 25:14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Life is a Gift. It is a sacred trust from our creator. What we do while we live it, the level that we walk in spiritually, the quality and durability of the investments that we make, are dependent upon our choices.

Life is given by God to be significant. He created us to live with purpose and in His power. God did not place us on this planet to succumb to the neutralizing weight of apathy, fear, or mediocrity.

Life in Christ is an ever growing comprehension of God’s revelation. It is about increase. It is not about just holding on, playing it safe, or merely blending in.

When we view life as a mission of self preservation, rather than opportunity, a never-ending struggle to prevent loss, rather than taking possession of the spoils of a war already won through Jesus The Christ we live small, we live safe, we live largely defeated, and we bury the things that God has placed in our hands to invest in the advancement of the kingdom.

Whatever God has placed in our hands has been entrusted to us for a season and for a reason, and the hand that receives it must be connected to a heart that delights in the opportunity to be faithful, to invest for return.

The scriptures never portray the kingdom of God, in heaven, or on earth, as neutral, dull, deficient, in decline, just holding on, in stalemate, compromising, tentative, or contained. The Kingdom of God is full speed ahead, effulgent, super abundant, ever advancing, ever possessing, victorious, authoritative, decisive, and of whose increase there is no end.

The kingdom mission is not burying the talent, its about faith, its about vision, its about increase and advancement. The Kingdom of God’s greatness never shines less, it always shines more. Love is the universal language of the Kingdom and the blood of Christ is the Divine currency that secures our place in it and finances its mission.

The more I forgive others the more I appreciate the forgiveness that God has afforded me and the more I appreciate the forgiveness that God has afforded me the more I forgive others.

Romans 5:15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more

The eyes of the world will soon turn away, from today's winner, supplanted by tomorrow's champion, or the next sensation. Heroes among us, crowned with fading glory, are neither indestructible, or immortal as they are only flesh and blood.

Those who pursue the allusion that vanity conjures, are soon to fall upon the rusted heap with those whose potential to establish a righteous legacy has perished.

The World precariously places today's notables upon the fading marquee. The famous and the infamous carry the headiness but for a moment in time, and then in the shroud of "death and dying" they are moved from where "occasion" recalls, or "never" consigns them to the depths of failed remembrance.

The nobility of true heroism is found in every life governed by righteous principles and in the hearts which beat for the greater good. It is found in the higher things upon which the lowly soul is raised up in Christ to serve with enduring excellence and compelling love.

The true character of a man exists in the person and principles enthroned upon his heart, that which he chooses to live for and is willing to die for. If a man seats himself upon the throne of his heart, there is nothing but vanity within him. Vanity is like the footprint in sand that is soon washed away.

Isaiah 40:7-9

7 The grass withers, the flower fades,
Because the breath of the Lord blows upon it;
Surely the people are grass.
8 The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.”

1 Corinthians 9:25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
