The body of Christ has been directed to engage people who have become disengaged from "church." Are we protecting (burying) our God given resources rather than focusing on or investing prayerfully in the Holy Spirit driven expansion of His kingdom? The kingdom of God is dynamic and alive in Christ, focused on reaching and ministering to people rather than hunkering down behind the walls of religious self preservation. The Lord is indestructible and what He builds, He champions and He advances.
Isaiah 9:6-8
6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
