Sometimes there are those things that we devote ourselves to knowing, having, or experiencing, that demand a disproportionate amount of personal investment compared to their real value. At the end of such pursuit, we are often left disappointed and depleted rather than fulfilled. Solomon compares it to grasping for the wind and he calls is vanity. (Ecclesiastes)
The things of the greatest value are the things that have been freely given to us by a Loving God. They present themselves to us every day. Things rich in Faith, Hope, and Love never leave one disappointed and depleted. In Christ is found perfect satisfaction all the time, every time.
