The scriptures reveal that life is not determined by the lucky bounces. It is not a series of magical moments carried by fortuitous tailwinds of unknown origin. Each day is carried and ordered by divine providence and is miraculous. Some believe that providence and the miraculous are two unrelated aspects of God's nature and workings. But God in His providential nature is the miraculous and the miraculous is more than an individual act of provision or intervention. It is the mysterious, incomprehensible, infinite, and sublime nature of God. There is no need to trust in four leaf clovers as we stand upon the Words of Christ revealed in the Four Gospels.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!
