Our Mission Statement

On Earth As It Is In Heaven

Bethel Church exists to see Christ's Kingdom come, and His will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.

What We Believe

We believe in the one true God who is the eternally self-existent Creator of Heaven and earth and the perfectly holy, just, and loving redeemer of humankind. He has revealed Himself as one being in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired revelation of God to humankind and the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

We believe that humankind was created both good and upright in the image of God, yet chose to willfully reject His Lordship, thereby incurring not only physical, but spiritual death. Creation now experiences the effects and the consequences of humankind’s voluntary transgression.

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, who lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, was resurrected, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.

We believe that the only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith alone, restoring us back to fellowship with God. Salvation is received through repentance and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Our adoption as sons and daughters at the time of salvation includes the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who regenerates and sanctifies, enabling a believer to live a Holy life. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers to supernaturally empower them to minister in the gifts of the Spirit and boldly as God’s witnesses.

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the Church with a role to play. The church exists to continue the ministry of Christ in preaching the good news, making disciples, destroying the works of darkness, and advancing Christ’s Kingdom.

We believe the church is to keep the ordinances of water baptism - representing the newness of life in Christ, and communion - a remembrance of His death and a declaration that He will return once again in victory.

We believe in the ever-expanding kingdom of God and the Blessed Hope, the visible and physical return of Jesus Christ for His overcoming and victorious bride.

We believe there will be a final judgment of both the lost and the saved. The lost to everlasting death and the saved to everlasting life in the new heavens and new earth where righteousness dwells.
