Children's Ministry

Bethel offers Biblically based, age appropriate, and interactive children's ministry on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday evenings. Below you will see information for both our Sunday and Wednesday children's programs.

Every Bethel Church volunteer who is responsible for the welfare of a child or has direct contact with children is required to follow the Background Check Policy of Bethel Church, which conforms to Pennsylvania law.

Nursery (0-2 Years)

The nursery is staffed with loving childcare specialists. All nursery staff members have undergone a security check and are well trained to care for the babies. While parents enjoy ministry in the sanctuary, their babies will hear stories about Jesus, sing songs, read books, watch Christian videos, play, and enjoy snacks.

Pre-school  (Ages 3-5)

Our team is passionate about God and preschoolers. Every classroom is full of energetic learning and joy! Each preschool team member has undergone a security check and has been trained to help your child’s church experience to be as positive and exceptional as possible. Classes include worship, prayer, and Bible time with many activities and games to reinforce the day’s lesson. Snack and playtime in our play center complete each service. The kids hate to leave!

BLAST Ministry for Kids  (Grades 1-4)

This ministry is staffed by teachers who are passionate about seeing kids come into a personal relationship with God.  BLAST Kids is an energy packed, age appropriate, interactive time for kids to grow in faith and knowledge. Kids connect with leaders, each other, and with God on a weekly basis.

They participate in worship, art, fine arts and many other ministries. Our services include kid-led worship, prayer, sharing, bible teaching, missions training, serving opportunities, giving, videos, interactive games, science experiments, and object lessons – whatever it takes to show the kids God is what we do. Our mission is to have kids who love church, and most importantly, love God and each other.

5th & 6th Grade Ministry

This class is specifically designed for kids in 5th and 6th grade as they grow in their own relationship with Christ. Our 5th & 6th Grade Ministry leaders love kids and seek to build lifelong relationships with them, developing their leadership skills, their God given talents, and then providing opportunities for them to be used.

Wednesday 7:00 PM

In the Mpact Girls Ministries, girls and young women build close relationships with leaders who have been trained to disciple girls with a strong biblical foundation enabling them to overcome the challenges they face in today’s culture. This spiritual journey will produce Christlikeness and develop leadership potential. Through awarding merits badges and charms for biblical achievements, sports, cooking for shut-ins, music, visual and fine arts for senior centers, and more, the girls are systematically guided through a measurable, personal, and spiritual growth process. The result is lifelong relationships, life-changing experiences, and impactful service in their community. All of this, complete with a lot of laughter and fun.

Royal Rangers Weds

Leaders are trained to mentor young men in Christlikeness. Young men are taught and given leadership positions and responsibilities in Royal Rangers, making it a boy-led, adult-facilitated ministry. Personal and spiritual growth will be fun, hands-on, and experiential – friendship and relationship strong. The creativity and variety will draw different kinds of boys with varying interests who find it rewarding to be a part of something bigger than themselves.

Royal Rangers (PreK-6th Grade)

Royal Rangers is a mentoring program for boys. We provide Christ like character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.  Our mission is an E3 approach; Evangelize, Equip, and Empower the next generation of men for a lifelong commitment to Christ, their church and the community.

Advancement System
In Royal Rangers, boys and young men are challenged to embark on an adventure that requires them to participate actively. It is a spiritual journey that will forge their character and maximize their leadership potential. Through sports, producing a music video, repairing the home of an elderly person, camping skills, etc., mentors are intentional about laying foundations for a biblical worldview. By awarding merit badges, boys are guided on a measurable, personal, and spiritual growth process. (They think they are just having fun with their friends, so let's keep that our secret!)
